Gjorde ett födelsedagskort häromveckan i akvarell, tusch och ProMarkers, A5 på akvarellpapper.

Made a birthday card the other week in watercolour, ink and ProMarkers, A5 size on watercolour paper.

Been playing with my pens and metallic inks this week and made 3 new illustrations. Measures 23 by 28 centimeters.

Veckans målning som jag har jobbat på. Akvarell, spritpennor och metallic tusch mix, storlek 35 cm  x 35 cm med massa detaljer. Ljuskällans placering gör att färgerna förändras i målningen då jag använt mig av delvis metallic tusch. Hela illustrationen ser du på sista bilden i inlägget.

New illustration I´ve been working on during this week. Watercolour, markers and metallic ink mix, measures 35 by 35 centimeters with lots of detailed work. The light and colours shifts in the painting depending on light source position due to use of metalic inks.  The whole painting is on the last picture of this post.

AUGUST FLOWERS I I

Lite mer kyla i augustimånad men fortfarande varmt och dagens akvarell och blandade tuschmålning.

Still warm in August even if briskier winds and with that I made a new watercolor and mixed ink painting.

AUGUST FLOWERS

Vi välkomnar åter en ny augustimånad och dagens akvarell och blandade tuschmålning får starta denna nya månads blogginlägg. Storlek 34 x 34 cm. Övre bilden är från delar av den och nedan hela målningen.

And a new August month arrives today and with that I made a new watercolor and mixed ink painting to start the first blog post for this month. Size 34 by 34 centimeters. First picture is from parts of it and below the full painting.

I ett tidigare inlägg har jag lagt ut detaljbilder från denna nu färdigställd målning i akvarell och olika tusch, Du kan se från första snabba skiss överst och sedan hur jag jobbat fram motivet med små tålmodiga detaljer. 35 x 35 cm i akvarell och olika slags tusch, även metalliska som gör att visuellt skiftar målningen och dess detaljer i olika ljus och får olika detaljer synliga pga av hur ljuset faller på målningen.

In an previous post, I posted detailed photos of this now completed painting in watercolor and various inks and markers, you can see from the first quick sketch on top photo and then how I worked out the design with small patient details. 35 x 35 centimeters watercolor and various inks and markers, also metallic inks that makes the painting shift visually and its details varies in different light depending on how the light falls on the painting.

Jag har inte mycket energi just nu men försöker måla lite med nya akvarellfärger och tusch. Jag håller på att testa massa olika tekniker.

I don´t have a lot of energy right now but I am trying to paint a little with new watercolors and ink. I am trying lots of different techniques.

CARD FOR A WEDDING COUPLE

Igår gjorde jag ett kort som ska ges till ett par som ska gifta sig. Akvarellpapper, akvarellfärger och tusch samt marmorerad med guld gouach och 2 guld metallringar och duvorna är urklippta från ett fint pappersark från Ljunggren´s papper i Gamla Stan samt rosa sidenband. Hjärtat är målat på separat akvarellpapper som jag sen klippt ut och fäst med tjocka vadderade fotokuddar så det lyfts lite och det blir mer 3 dimensionell effekt. Format 16 x 16 cm i ihopvikt skick.

Yesterday I made a card for a couple who is getting married. Watercolor paper, watercolors and ink, and marbled with gold gouach and two gold metal rings and doves are cut from a fine paper from n Ljunggren´s papper in the Old Town of Stockholm and pink satin ribbon. The heart is painted on a separate watercolor paper which I then cut out and attached with thick padded photo cushions so it becomes more of a three-dimensional effect. Format 16 by 16 centimeters when folded.

R.I.P Ivan Turina

Målvakten Ivan Turina dog i sömnen den 2 maj och lämnade efter sig gravid fru och 2 barn. Så sorgligt. Här skriver en vän om sina känslor efter matchen som spelades på Friends Arena tidigare i veckan. Tänkte på Ivan när jag gjorde den här tidigare i veckan. Akvarell och tusch, 12 x 12 cm, inramad.

Goalkeeper Ivan Turina died in his sleep May 2nd and left a pregnant wife and 2 children behind. It´s very sad. Here is an article by a friend that writes about her feelings after the match played on Friend Arena earlier this week. I though of Ivan when I did this illustration earlier in the week. Watercolor and ink, 12 by 12 centimeters, framed.
