Gjort ett halsband med en nysilverinfattad Ammonitfossil hänge. Ammoniterna dog ut för 65 miljoner år sedan och existrerade under ca 350 miljoner år. De flesta funna är från Jura-tiden.
Det är ammoniternas skal man finner som fossil (man har dock hittat avtrycksfossil av skal med tentakler). Bläckfiskdjuret levde längst ut i detta skal som var indelat med mellanväggar/septa (detta kan man se när de är kluvna), allteftersom djuret växte, växte skalet med. De flesta ammoniter var spiralformade men det fanns ammoniter med böjda nästan raka skal.
Halsbandet här fler nysilver ornamenterade delar och blomhasplås och slipade, blanka och matta glaspärlor samt agatpärlor.
I have made a necklace with a silver plated framed Ammonite fossil pendant. Ammonites became extinct 65 million years ago and existrerade for about 350 million years. Most are found in Jurassic time. It is Ammonites shell that is found as fossils (it has, however, found the footprint fossils of shells with tentacles). The squid animal was alive at the end of this shell which was divided by partition walls / septa (this can be seen when they are split), as the animal grew, the shell grew with it. Most Ammonites was helical but there were ammonites with bent almost straight shell.
The necklace has sterling silver ornamented pieces and floral clasp and cut, polished, shiny and matte glass beads and Agats.
