THE GARDEN OF SENSES - STOCKHOLM

Vackra vilda rosor i Sinnenas Trädgård i Sabbatsbergsbyn och Vasaparken i Stockholm.
I den trädgården ska alla sinnen hos besökaren stimuleras; syn, hörsel, lukt, känsel och smak.
Här finns vatten som porlar, växter med olika strukturer, former och färger, dofter av olika slag. Sinnet stimuleras, stimulansen ger associationer och minnen, känslor och tankar väcks. Kontemplation och tid för vila och tankar. Intill ligger demensboendet och barnen leker och spelar i vasaparken näst intill. Här finns handdukar på tork, som små installationer av minnen i trädgården. Ett växthus där de i området kan ha sina sticklingar etc. Flera sittgrupper och även oaser där rehab kan ges vid t ex gåträningsställningen.

Beautiful wild roses in the Garden of Senses at Sabbatsbergs village in the Vasa Park in Stockholm.

In the garden, all senses of the visitor is stimulated; vision, hearing, smell, touch and taste.
Water that bubbles, plants with different textures, shapes and colors, smells of various kinds. The mind is stimulated, the stimulus provides associations and memories, feelings and thoughts are brought. Contemplation and time for rest and thoughts. Adjacent dementia nursing home and the children playing in Vasa Park nearby. Here hangs the kitchen towels out to dry, like small installations of memories in the garden. A greenhouse where people that live in the area can have their cuttings etc. Several seating areas and even oases where physiotherapy can take place by eg the walking training bars.

GETTING INTO XMAS SPIRIT

Har börjat komma i lite julstämning fastän 11 grader varmt här i Stockholm och idag när jag passerade city höll alla juldekoratörer pynta Åhlens City fasaden och det är förberett för tändning kring obelisken på Sergels torg. I Gamla Stan har halva hus fått kompakta julljus! Så jag har själv börjat med lite pyssel i form av små glittergarnar som kan hängas i gran, ris, på glögg- eller vinflaskan eller som paketdekoration. Kommer pyssla mycket några veckor framöver.

I have started to get into some Christmas spirit even though it´s 11 degrees centigrade here in Stockholm and today when I went through the city I saw decoraters setting up the Åhlens City exterior with Christmas lights and it is prepared for the lightening of half snowballs around the Obelisk statue at Sergels torg. In the Old Town I saw half the houses with compact Christmas lights! I also have started with a little crafting making small glitter Christmas trees that can be hung in the tree, on pine branches, on the mulled wine- or wine bottle or as package decoration. Will be much crafting of all kinds in the next few weeks to come.
